Giving Testimonials

Hear directly from our donors just how important your gift is to anyone of our featured funds. No amount is too small to make an impact today.

I give to Brentwood because .......I got a huge amount out of attending and by supporting De Manu In Manum I am ensuring that the Brentwood experience is accessible to every deserving student, regardless of their financial circumstances. I am proud to support this initiative and hope that this Giving Tuesday you will join me and make a donation to the De Manu In Manum in support of financial aid.

Tuition shouldn't be an obstacle for bright and driven students. The Bursary Now Fund helps keep Brentwood accessible. There's an immediate impact on the life of a current student. And it allows the privilege of the Brentwood experience to be shared across diverse backgrounds - something that makes Brentwood special.

The initial idea of private schooling was foreign to our family, so when we realized our children were both interested and motivated to try, we were nervous and anxious.

The decision to have our children move away from the relative safety of our own home to the shores of Mill Bay was difficult but has rewarded our family in many unforeseen ways. Meeting other young adults from all over the world, the exposure to new sports, music, drama, dance, the list goes on.

Craig and I recognize that the future of all the far-reaching communities we have gathered from rely on the education and wholeness of our children. Brentwood has the track record and the rich history of developing well-rounded young adults. Our future. Your future.

Through the eight years we have been part of our new adopted Brentwood family we have been fascinated with the continued professionalism and dedication of the instructors, house parents and faculty staff. We also quickly realized that the preservation of the Brentwood legacy is only possible if we as patrons continue to provide.

Please take the time to consider giving to the class of 2023 Endowment Fund and help reach the goal of $100 000. This will enable future families to share the experience and opportunities that we are so grateful to have had.

I support the De Manu In Manum Fund to help the transformative life experience that is a Brentwood education become a reality for any student who would choose it. Vibrant, open-minded and true to all its values, Brentwood changes lives for the better. I give to be a part of the culture that makes this school so special.

Brentwood provided an excellent education for our son, James. He benefited immensely from the small classes and the attention he received from each of his teachers. We have continued to financially support Brentwood in order that other students can also receive an enriched education.

Although my own children are not Brentonians, I believe in giving to the Old Brentonians Trust as I feel supporting future legacy students is important. Brentwood is a school of tradition. Families have traditions. Several generations of my family have benefitted from attending Brentwood, and I hope that future generations of my family and other legacy families will have the opportunity as well.

Many years ago when we met with the Admissions team in Malaysia, we knew we'd found the right school for our kids. Fast forward and now our eldest has graduated, our second child will soon graduate and our youngest has just joined.

We are so pleased with our decision. Brentwood has delivered everything that was promised and more. We're grateful for the continual support, care and attention that each of our children have received. This is why we give back. We know this little contribution will help many others who could benefit from the Brentwood experience.

When I am by the ocean, I'm reminded of the incredible view I had at Brentwood in the old school block - sunrises, seals playing on the dock, west coast storms, and Mt. Baker in the distance. What an amazing place to learn! I will always be grateful for my Brentwood education. A donation to the new Academic Centre is a small way I can give back to ensure future students have the same incredible view and a state of the art place to learn.

Many years ago, the De Manu in Manum bursary fund made it possible for me to attend Brentwood. This wonderful place has changed my life for the better and continues to do so to this day. My wife and I are so glad that we can pay this generosity forward, and support new generations of Brentonians".

I've coached the girls' rugby team from the first year it started, so I feel that the Rugby Endowment is an appropriate area for my support. Now, in my 44th year as a teacher at this remarkable school, I continue to see our dedicated staff, terrific students, and world class facilities as a great gift in my life.

The Brentwood Endowment has allowed me the privilege of teaching the children of students I taught earlier in my career. I am happy to give back a little to make it possible for other students to share in the experience my own two sons enjoyed. I will continue to support this amazing school in any way I can, for as long as I'm teaching here and beyond.
